TMS Concert (3:00pm)

Teesside Music Society is pleased to present Ensemble DeNote.

Ensemble DeNote has established a reputation for its stylish performances of classical period chamber music on historical instruments. Their recent CD ‘Beethoven and the Art of Arrangement’ was awarded 5 stars for performance by Early Music Review. We are glad to welcome them back to TMS, this time with a quintet arrangement (c.1805) of Mozart’s unique Gran Partita – originally for 13 Winds. Jane and Ruth are both glad to return to their roots in Middlesbrough.

Their programme includes: MOZART Piano trio K548 in C; BEETHOVEN Piano quartet op 16 in E flat; & MOZART Gran Partita K361 for piano, clarinet, violin, viola & cello.
