Called to serve God by increasing awareness of His presence and declaring His love

JAM (6:30pm)

Date:
Time:

JAM (Jesus And Me!) meets every Sunday during term-time, from 6:30pm until 8:00pm, in the Upper Room. The group is open to all children of secondary school age, including sixth form.

The group is led by Revd Lisa Quarmby, Nicky Fenny and Andy Quarmby, with frequent visits from Neil Harris of “Youth for Christ”.

JAM has hosted various speakers who have testified about Christian faith in their lives, described their work, interests or various experiences, brought issues for discussion. This is a time for listening and asking questions, sharing thoughts and making decisions.

Along with Bible study and prayer, there is always time for FUN – playing games, being creative, converting the Upper Room to a cinema, eating snacks or having pizza.

Most importantly, JAM has become a place where our youth feel safe to relax and be themselves, where they can support each other, and share what’s going on in their eventful lives.

If you have any enquiries, or know someone who might want to come along, then please contact Andy Quarmby at The Manse (15 North Road) or ring him on 01642 710358.
