Called to serve God by increasing awareness of His presence and declaring His love

Open for Private Prayer (10:00am)

Date:
Time:

The Church is now Open for Private Prayer every Friday morning, from 10am to 11.00am.

Entrance will be by the front door & exit by the side door (this door will also be used for disabled access/exit) so that we have a one-way system in place. We would ask that you queue at the front of the church respecting social distancing (2m apart) & taking care to remain separate from people queuing at the Co-Op or bank. We would also be grateful if you could avoid touching the hand-rail unless absolutely necessary & that you wear a face-mask at all times during your visit. Please note the toilet in the vestibule is the only one available & should be used only if absolutely necessary. A steward will welcome you in, one at a time, & on entry you must use the hand sanitiser. The steward will take you through a health questionnaire & take your contact details so that we can track & trace should anyone develop Covid-19 symptoms. You will then be shown to your seat in the church but please try not to touch any door handles or other surfaces where possible. Please only sit on chairs protected by polythene covers. These have been spaced out to enable safe distancing though it will be possible for two visitors from the same household or Support Bubble to sit together on allocated seating. You are welcome to stay in your seat & enjoy the quiet & peace of the church while you offer your prayers & take your time to reflect on what is near & dear to you. When you are ready to leave the church, the steward will guide you via the Heritage Room to the side exit.

More procedure details will be available when you visit, but we hope that you will enjoy the experience of being back in church despite all the precautions & ‘different’ way of doing things!
