We have two Network (MWiB) Groups in the Church.

Thursday Morning Group.

This group meets monthly in members’ homes beginning at 10.30am and for those who wish, there is a time from 10am for coffee and a chat! The hostess is responsible for the content of the morning.

Today we meet at the home of Sandra Thompson, 7 The Paddock. Sandra & Lesley will lead the meeting on the theme of ‘No Mod Cons’.

We are fortunate to live in a world that is full of amenities and appliances that contribute to an easier and more comfortable way of life. But not so long ago, our mothers & grandmothers managed to run their homes with far less gadgetry.
We’re going to look at what life was like when there were ‘no mod cons’ & it would be good if you could share your memories. We would also like you to bring with you a favourite ‘gadget’ that has transformed your way of doing things at home. It might be a ‘mystery’ gadget that gets us guessing!
