Called to serve God by increasing awareness of His presence and declaring His love

Date:
Time:

Today our Morning Worship at 10.30am is led by Ken Hudson, Local Preacher from Great Ayton Methodist Church.

We will continue to provide online worship from Stokesley and Gt Ayton Methodist Churches for those who prefer to worship from Home.

To access today’s Youtube streamed service follow the instructions below:

Open your internet search engine/tab > enter ‘https://www.youtube.com’ (or simply ‘youtube’ to find the link) in the search bar > when Youtube opens, enter ‘Stokesley Methodist Church Youtube’ in the search bar > Our Youtube channel should open with all the recent services, mostly, but not always in date order, starting with the most recent.

If you prefer to worship from home, you can also go to the Circuit Website & click on the ‘Worship at Home’ Logo.

On this page you will find the links to any recorded services provided by the ministers or local preachers for the coming Sunday.

In addition, each week we are provided with a worship sheet from District which you can find on the ‘Worship at Home’ page & which is also available to download from the link on the Weekly Notices page.

This is a time of real uncertainty for everyone and the Church will continue to be central to the life of our community

in bringing light and hope in any way we can.

Under the new guidance, most of the previous legal restrictions have been removed such as social distancing; limiting numbers of people attending events; requirements to wear a face covering, including for singing and performance; & singing, music and performances generally.

However, to help those using our buildings feel safe and welcome, the recommendations are that we ensure that rooms are adequately ventilated where possible and practical; & that it may be suitable in crowded or enclosed spaces, particularly if ventilation is poor, to continue to wear face coverings to reduce the risk of transmission, particularly where we share spaces with people we do not normally meet.

Our main aim is to enable everyone within and outside the church to have access to worship, teaching and support, safely & responsibly, so we should continue to follow safer behaviours to protect ourselves and others:

ü  Please do not come to church if you feel unwell or suspect you might have Covid 19. Continue to get tested and self-isolate if needed.

ü  Continue to exercise good hygiene practice. Please use the hand sanitiser as you arrive & leave.

ü  The services will still be live streamed, so if you are still nervous about coming to church, it will be available on-line.

Many thanks for your cooperation.
