In addition, each week we are provided with a worship sheet from District which you can find on the ‘Worship at Home’ page & which is also available to download from the link on the Weekly Notices page.

This is a time of real uncertainty for everyone and the Church will continue to be central to the life of our community

in bringing light and hope in any way we can.

Arrangements for ‘in-person’ services at Stokesley Methodist Church

The Guidance for worship has changed since HM Government relaxed the rules on 19th July. The Methodist Church has advised caution and to move slower in certain aspects. In particular face coverings are advised together with some control of social distancing. Communal singing can take place once more.

Our own risk assessment has been reviewed and the following will apply for the foreseeable future:

ü  Please do not come to church if you feel unwell or suspect you might have Covid 19.

ü  Face coverings are advised when in church.

ü  Hand sanitiser will be available.

ü  A register of attendance will still be taken to assist in Track and Trace as before.

ü  The one-way system of access and egress will still apply.

ü  The plastic covering has been removed from chairs and only alternate rows of seating will be in use.

ü  People are still advised not to sit with people they do not live with or are not in a bubble with. Please leave at least one seat between you and people you don’t live with.

ü  Please don’t shake hands and hug others. The virus is still very active and everyone needs to take care. Please wait till you are outside before holding conversations.

ü  The services will still be live streamed, so if you are still nervous about coming to church, or simply can’t manage for 10:30, it will be available on-line.Communal singing will be possible once more, though wearing of a covering whilst singing is advised.

Thank you for your co-operation
