Main Kitchen Refurbishment
“Every day they continued to meet together in the Temple courts. They broke bread and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2 v46-47)
Following 22 years of regular use, the Church kitchen is in dire need of refurbishment to make it fit for purpose. This will mean increased use for ourselves and enable further outreach into the community.
Plans have been drawn and costings received. These include a large cooker, fridge, microwave, water boiler and dishwasher as well as new cupboards and extra work surfaces.
The Church Council approved the use of £5k from the reserves towards the project which will cost in total £13k. The Stokesley Circuit have also agreed to contribute another £5k. So we have the challenge to raise the remaining £3k as quickly as we can.
We will be holding various fundraising events but individual contributions, large or small, will also be gratefully received. The Refurbishment Project is scheduled to commence early in the New Year 2017.
